Rock and Roll Weekend

What's up Buttercup.
This weekend I went to a small local festival in Nelspruit called Woodcrock in a venue called Blue moon. It was my first festival and I truly enjoyed it.

The people were friendly and relaxed and the whole weekend was a blur of color, good food, great music and happy people.
It was a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. The people in Nelspruit remind me of Port Elizabeth locals. Most are Afrikaans and everyone knows everyone. Even Nelspruit itself have little things here an there that remind me of Port Elizabeth. It's the feeling of coming home to the family, it's nostalgic and theatrical. There's also this seemingly sleepy atmosphere that's none existent in Johannesburg. Everyone is doing things at there own pace.

Port Elizabeth and Nelspruit locals also carry so much love with them, love that again is like family. If they know you or at least have seen you a few times then you're in but if they don't know you, they have this shield of uncertainty and care. It was really a wonderful experience. Hope you enjoy the photos.
